One of the most challenging things for non techie webmasters to do is to monetize a website or blog. For many people, it is pointless to run a website or blog if the entire exercise does not pay for itself, somehow. The best way to monetize a website is without doubt via Google’s Adsense program.

Google Adsense allows website owner’s to earn revenue by running Google Ads on their website. Revenue is earned anytime one of those ads is clicked by a user. Google shares the revenue with the owner of the website with the owner getting the bulk of the profits. When earnings reach a predetermined level, usually $100, Google sends a check to the webmaster at the end of their monthly accounting cycle. Implementing Google Adsense on a website requires some HTML knowledge. Clearly, this can be quite discouraging for website owner’s who know next to nothing about HTML. As a result they have to incur expensive fees hiring web designers to do it for them. For WordPress users, Quick Adsense comes to the rescue. Quick Adsense allows webmasters to quickly integrate Google Adsense on their websites. Some of the features of Quick Adsense include: You can assign ads to any section of your page of post Simple interface You can incorporate any other advertisement code in addition to Adsense You can show up to ten ads on a page despite the Google maximum of three Adsense blocks Sidebar can support up to 10 ad codes Shortcodes to ‘call’ ads when posting by using the ‘Quick tags’ feature How to use it To install the plugin, search for it in the plugins pages of the WordPress dashboard using the search terms ‘Quick Adsense’. It will take about one week for the guys at Google to approve your website provided you conform to their content guidelines. If you already have an Adsense account, log into your account and click on ‘get ads’. Follow the instructions to get an ad code. Copy the code and paste it in the field ‘Ads 1’. Repeat the process to populate as many ad fields as you want. Do the same for ‘Ads on Sidebar Widget’ and save the changes.
